This side-mounted outboard remote control box is designed for Evinrude Johnson motors. The unit features an aluminium ADC2+ASA body and ABS shell handle that resists cracking, delivering durability through repeated push-pull operations.
Control is straightforward: press the neutral release button to engage gear, push forward approximately 32° for forward gear, and backward 32° for reverse. A friction adjustment dial provides personalised throttle control, while a cold start air-oil ratio adjustment function ensures reliable performance in extreme temperatures.
The integrated power trim and tilt switch sits directly on the control lever handle. Press the up arrow (↑) to tilt the engine upward or the down arrow (↓) to tilt downward. This design simplifies stern engine positioning during cargo loading and unloading, and helps prevent prolonged engine immersion.
An emergency stop switch lanyard is included as a safety feature. If the operator is unexpectedly displaced, the lanyard automatically halts the engine. It attaches securely to your waistband or wrist.
The control package includes a 1.3 ft (400 mm) harness with 6-pin and 3-pin plugs, plus a 2.3 ft (700 mm) cable with 3-pin connector for meter connections. Both harnesses are constructed from durable thermoplastic material. Before installation, turn off the ignition, remove the key, and disconnect all cables and power.
Check your boat’s motor specifications and wiring configuration against this model’s compatibility requirements before purchase.
