This is a set of 6 emergency release tools designed for Kwikset-brand interior bedroom and bathroom door knobs and levers with a small access hole. Each tool serves as a replacement or backup for accessing privacy locks in emergencies.

The tool works via a simple 4-step process. Insert the flattened, slotted end into the centre hole of the knob or lever, push until it stops, turn clockwise until you feel it drop into the groove, then turn left (for levers) or right (for knobs) to engage or disengage the lock.
