16HP 450cc Vertical Shaft Petrol Engine Electric Start

The KingTech 16HP Vertical Shaft Engine is a 450cc 4-stroke petrol motor built for ride-on mowers and outdoor equipment. It delivers consistent power with minimal fuss, using a cast iron bore and OHV design for durability and wear resistance.

Electric start gets the engine running without repeated pulling, ideal after long storage. The transistorized magneto ignition ensures reliable starts every time, while the centrifugal mechanical governor keeps RPM steady under load.

This engine fits most Honda and Briggs and Stratton mounting bolt patterns via its universal bolt interface. The 25.4mm vertical shaft with counterclockwise rotation suits standard mower drive setups. Air-cooled single-cylinder design keeps weight down at 38kg, making installation straightforward.

The flat suction valve carburetor maintains steady fuel delivery, and the 1.5L oil capacity supports long operating hours. With 11kW output at 3600 RPM and 31Nm torque at 2500 RPM, it handles yard work without strain.

Installation uses four mounting holes (two through-holes, two blind holes, each 8.8mm diameter). The engine works as a direct replacement for most 10–18HP mower engines.
